How about politics and anything to do with it like recessions etc. Even though I have made some posts in some of the subjects, I for one, am starting to get bored of opening the news or general discussion sections only to find more subjects and/or posts about the American election or latest PAD demo's or which country will be the next to go into recession.

Pretty Please

A good suggestion. But there's nothing much else going on KF on right now.  Sad

SR,
A new request for 2009 : A scandinavian board, where Danish, Norwegian,Swedish and even Finnish people could discuss, as the scandinavian community is growing fast in Isaan. We do understand each others languages (both Norway and Sweden has belonged to the Danish Crown under Queen Margrethe I). Finnish language is "closer" to Magyar(Hungarian) but they do speak swedish too Roll Eyes.
I am sure that we will use it more than the Filipino or the Spanish did in the past on theirs.
judge for yourself:

G'day DK,

A nice idea.....BUT...now that you guys have an Aussie PRINCESS in your higher echelons, the language should be in English...preferably 'Strine (Australian).  Grin Grin Grin

Have a great New Year and every good wish for 2009.  Smiley

Wishes,

What about a category called : What's NEW abroad . And here we (non resident in Thailand) could write about what happening in our countries BUT it must be THAI related.
E.g. how Thais Expats are living abroad, their experiences, events (Thai community related), etc. etc.

The last thing I am waiting for is a list of places for "cheap wild sex and stuff like that" to accomodate Pattaya visitors Embarrassed

So you will impose your own moral standards across the board? Why do most tourists come to Thailand or live in Thailand? Should it be your decision on the morals of this board? Are you Religious and should other religions be banned from this board? Should Gay people be banned from the board? Should this board be renamed thaivisa? Are bars and ... houses allowed to be mentioned on here? or should all that sinful stuff be hidden from casual surfers?
Being new i was running through old posts, you are correct in what you say.well said sir.thiga
