I'm working on something cool...
But you can have a look at the first step:

http://www.koratmap.com/maps.html

You can drag the map with your mouse, zoom, add satellite pictures, it's google earth on your website.

Thanks.
I wanted to make more and I've seen a very nice one about Bangkok with placemark and interactive...
It's basically Google earth on a website.

But I wasn't able to program all the code and I'm working on other projects that take all my time.
Maybe one day..

Explanation needed :

MITTRAPHAP Road = Bangkok northbound through Korat - Khon Kaen- etc. :

But arriving to Korat on Highway nr.2, and just after Ban Mai, there are 2 roads called Mittraphap/Highway nr.2  :

1- The one that almost everybody knows, passing Save One Market-Lotus/Tesco-The Mall-left passing the New Bus station-Makro and forward to Khon Kaen, etc..

2- The other one coming from Pak Thong Chai as Road nr. 304 crossing the other Hwy. nr.2 around Save One Market, proceeding Nong Krathum-Cho Ho and then joining again the "other" Mittraphap Road(Nr.2) north of Cho Ho .

In DK , there have been many complains against Tele Atlas, about mostly about arbitrary "Pin marks" of places when you were looking for a location. If e.g. somebody was looking for min home address, the Pin will be placed in the middle of a Church Yard Shocked near by  Roll Eyes.
For sure they will not find me there,........yet  Roll Eyes . YES, I know that will maybe my "final destination", but not now Shocked  Grin  Grin

Therefore I will put a question mark at their slogan :
<< Accurate through constant community validitation >> ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

That men can learn is an inconstestable fact, but that men can teach is an interesting hypothesis which still needs to be proved.    www.thailandchildrenshome.com

The link above has been replace by this one:

http://www.koratmap.com/en/maps.html

It also includes panaramio and Wikipedia articles depending on your zooming scales.
If you click on the placemarks, some have direct website links, some have streetview, some are still under construction.

We have more than 60 placemarks. But Google earth has more functions, like youtube videos, webcams, etc.

edited: Sorry, just realized that even with /en/ the link works... But maybe not in the future.
