Hi guys, I just downloaded the file with all the Korat Placemarks

There aren't many placemarks for Cho Ho when I open Google Earth

I've got "Sataporn" and "Cho Ho" placemarks but that's all I can see

I thought there were a few more restaraunts out there? And a resort?

There is a Google Earth placemark for O&D pub/restaurant here http://www.koratmap.com/OD.html

and a map for DR Pizza here http://www.dr-pizza.com/

If you mean Bali Resort (only opened recently) it's a little outside Choho on the bypass (southbound side) about 6Kms from the junction with the 205 road to Chaiyaphum. It's easily recognisable as it's the only resort on that stretch of road, but all the signs are in Thai, and I don't think they serve Farang food.

There is also the Bali House restaurant, which is on soi 5 of Suranaria road (205 road) which is about 200 metres before you get to the Driving Licence Centre.

If I new how to post Google Earth placemarks I would do.

Yes, Big Bus, I ate there one or two trips ago with the Mrs and her sister, we all loved the food, although the dining room was a bit spartan.  Hope they are developing it a bit more, it had a great "newness" about it and in a strange location!

I've seen the Vienna when I take the backroad to the mother in laws. You have to take a small soi on the other side of the bypass from where soi Mukmontri joins the bypass.

I go past the Vienna on my way home from Korat, dreadful road full of potholes... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Thanks Derek, I forgot to mention that. Don't use it if you have a saloon car. It's pick up or SUV territory only.

Oh, and there is another resort in Johor, run by a farang guy or his wife. It's not on the bypass though, it's on the same road as Dr Pizza (and on the same side of the road) but heading out of the town towards Baan Gluay and Baan Groot - about 1 or 2 km as I recall. I don't recall the name of the resort or the village/moo baan it's in, but it seems to me to be more like a hotel/ guest house. In fact, many of the so called resorts in Thailand seem to me to be more like motels than what I would consider a resort.

The "resort" in Choho that you mention could be Besson Park Guesthouse, 747/65 Moo 6, Soi 2, Ruttanaphithan road, Choho.
They have a website with a map http://www.bsguesthouse.com/index.asp
The guesthouse is located in a quiet residential area with nice surroundings.
