AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! at last its worked

I've posted a few pics of the plan and the found's I was havin a bit trouble before when I was attatchin pics to the text?? I think its the connection over here,

Anyway, the builders came up on the 25th Apr to make camp as agreed with Alan, they started the footings the next day and on the 27th the misses had arranged for the monks to come for the lucky post blessing cary on,
I'm currently workin in indonisia at the moment so I missed all of that,I also missed the running around registering the house, elec, water, with the local gov office so the misses was quite busy HA! HA! she said it went quite smoothlly,I wonder If i could of done it so easy (no chance)

everything has with the build has gone great at the mo,I'm pleased as I get back on the 15th so I can clock my house for the first time.

I posted the drawing which I have a few changes to make ie a couple of windows to add,I've also added a front entrance porch and little bits like that but overall I pleased the way it looks,I done the drawings on microsoft exel with colored blocks, looked shite,
then I was given a programme called MICROSOFT VISIO,for anybody with no experience in design I would highly recommend this programme as all you do once loaded is drag drop everythin in ext,int walls windows doors, elec points even furniture and plants, you can also stretch and shrink your walls to the exact size to the mm it does everythin for you,I sent that to Alans architect and that was that a week later they started!!!!!!!!!!!!

the prices are as follows,(up to now)

  Land                   240,000
  Land fill               80,000
  Contract to build   1.74 m
not sure how much the monks cost yet I'll stick that on the next post???

bye for now

Good afternoon everybody,

sorry its been a while but been busy as have the builders,

I dont want to sound like I'm blowing the sunshine out of someodys arse when I talk about  Alans lads who are workin on my house, cos if they were shite I would tell everybody also, but these lads i have only good words to say about them, this will be quite a boring post about a house build as nothing as yet has went wrong and its been a easy process, and I would have not quarms about recomending Alan the builder and his lads  to anyone who is thinking of doin the same.

The lads have already built the int-ext walls, fixed and welded all the roof steel and have now started fitting the slates, after 5-6 weeks its goin great, and my visits to site are easy and minimal,I'm waiting on some updated pics so I can post over the next few days so people can see the progress,so not alot else to say untill I post the pics,

thanks for the best wishes rdrodkit,I'll  take you up on the offer of the golf and the beer once I'm sorted.

cheers

Tony

ps mike I've lost your email and no can you mail me again please

Alright George,

Thanks for readin the posts, I'll put a few more pics on in a bit,its just I'm a lazy twat when I'm up here Grin,

As for the building process I cant afford to loose anymore hair and before I started this I thoughtI was going to have a few less hairs than I have now!!! Goerge and anybody else who reads these posts, I certainly wouldn't piss up anybodys back if they were a bag of shite, I would  put the f-----s out of buisness after I'd battered the piss out of them that is, but I cant speak any more highly about the service I've had of Alan and his lads,Alans a twat and he keeps bottling out of a game of golf with me but thats the only fault I've had with this build ha ha,
The thai lads and there wives are spot on quality lads, and I only wish I could speak more thai so I could have a bit more crack with them over the numerous bottles of leo consumed over the last 8 weeks, rain, sun, storm or hungover the lads work no matter what and all I do is once a week I'll bring a box o leo and a couple o lao kao, and everytime I come back I'll go to Naklua market and bring some fresh sea food for a barbie and the better half will do some food now and then and they are happy as pigs in s---- I came back from golfin yesterday and checked the progress and all the tiling has been layed probablly the best I've seen in thailand and the perimiter wall is well underway, so I'll be dropping another box leo off tomorrow then I'm off to soi dow for a few days and thats as hard as this build has been, I think I'm a very lucky man I tell you after some of the stories I have read before I started this, but I can honestly say Im well happy I did.I'm only dissapointed today because I went to the george and dragon at 1.30 for a bit of an afternoon sesh and to try and meet a few other lads who live up here, but it doesn't open till 4pm Angry Angry ( must be a suothern poofda who runs it  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy)but hopefully I'll get a beer with a few lads when I get back in a week or so,well not much more to say exept if you or anybody else would like to have a look at mi hoose before you start your own my door is always open.

Ill post a few more pics in a few days
