The number for the Taxi Office in Korat is 044342255.

They will come and meet you at the airport and bring you to Korat for between 2,500 - 3,000 Baht.

There is another taxi firm that uses executive limos Huh and SUVs. I only have the number of one of the drivers Khun Dong 0879561890. Similarly priced.

When I am back to korat, I used to take meter taxi from the airport that cost me 2000 bahts including toll fees.

The tourist information centre informed me there is no such thing as a taxi-bus map as each bus number may have different routes. They have a book which has maps for each bus number but they said it is not up to date as there are too many new bus numbers. The best bet, if like me you cannot read the Thai signs, is to tell them where you want to go or better still get your Thai wife/girlfriend to check. After a while you get to know which buses go where.
