Anyone did it? I know how to go to Mo Chit but not Suvannabhumi. I need to go in 4 weeks. I am going to have a little trip to bring back some maple syrup. I saw this post: http://koratfarang.com/board/index.php/topic,614.0.htmlBut nobody explains it clearly...

Korat to Suvarnabhumi: Take the normal Korat to Mor Chit bus. Get off at Don Muang. About 20-30 meters back from where the bus stops is a driveway leading to the terminal building. In this driveway is a desk or kiosk where you can buy tickets on a minibus from Don Muang to Suvarnabhumi. I think the cost is 40-50 baht and the trip takes half an hour. I think the bus is number 555, but that doesn't matter. Note that this is the way it was a few weeks ago, but all may have changed now that Don Muang is open again.
Suvarnabhumi to Korat: I think the easiest way is to catch a taxi from Suvarnabhumi to Mor Chit and then catch a bus to Korat. You can catch a meter taxi down on level one. There is a taxi desk that issues chits for the metered taxis, just like it used to be at Don Muang. I think the metered fare to Mor Chit was around 200 baht and took half an hour or so.

I am leaving on the 24, 8am I believe. So, I might go to BKK on the 23rd. My girlfriend might take me there...if she is in town. I don't know. If not, I will take the bus. So, right now, all options are available. I might get back by bus, with my gf, or by taxi, depending how I feel...Bangkok-Montreal is VERY far.

There's a very frequent bus service from BKK to a terminus in Pak Thong Chai. The road for PKT leaves the Korat road some distance east of Saraburi. I haven't seen any information about a new service from Suvarnabhumi to Pak Thong Chai. The old service will still continue so, perhaps, the best that we can hope for is a shutle link from Suvarnabhumi to the bus station just south of Don Muang.
I've search the Transport section and elsewhere but there's no information about this. We shall 'phone the Thai office at the airport in the hope that they have some information but if any member can also help with information I would be grateful.
Thank you.
