After much thought and very much against what I really want, I have decided to officially put the bar up for sale.

I think you all know what happened to Nang and as much as i love running this place and talking with all of you, I need to give Nang more time.

I would hope that whoever buys the bar will keep all things such as the quiz nights etc going.

We now have enough people to become a sub branch of the British Legion.

I absolutely hate having to do this and indeed just writing this is bringing me to tears, but Nang and the children have to come before me.

Thanks

Steve

Steve,

I know you've been through a helluva lot this year.  My wife and I wish you and your family the best of luck and most importantly a speedy recovery for Nang.

You guys have a ton of friends here and if there's anything we can do to help, please let us know.

Steve, could you not get someone in (one of your friends) to run the bar for you for a while?. That will buy you some time

I am very sorry to hear this Steve. The Ram has become my favorite place in Korat.
Thoughts of The Ram and the great people there, keep me going, while slaving away in the states.
I am even more sorry to hear about Nang and we wish her (and you) all the best.

Could you consider what Walrus has said?

I have considered this, unfortunately this was not the first medical bill I had to sort out, my father was also hospitalised without insurance so I had that one as well.

With the added costs of looking after Nang i could not afford it, whereas by selling the bar and either taking care of her myself, or going back to work, I can replenish my depleted funds.

Thanks for your best wishes

Steve,

We will miss you and Nang and your father but I hope to still see you all around. I hope that Nang continues to recover and that your father is OK.

You haven't left The Ram yet but thanks for all the good times there and your kindness and hospitality.

As previously stated, although I have put the bar up for sale, I hope to attract a buyer who will carry on with the things people enjoy.

The only reason we are doing this is for Nang and the children.

Thanks for all the best wishes

Nang has asked me to remind you that The Ram bar is still up for sale.

I don't know how much she wants for it, but if you are interested please call in and speak to her, or ring her on 0817892326.

When this bar was set up I invested 1.3million Baht, but I do not expect to get an offer of this size!

The busiest period of the year for the bar is not far away, with Cope Tiger and Cobra Gold coming up, we were re-stocking both fridges nightly and buying several bottles of spirit every day.

The American Airforce adopted the bar and it was full every night, with absolutely NO trouble in site, they Will be back as several of them do keep in touch.

All Offers are to be made to Nang, and all moneis will be paid to her!!

Thanks

The Ram has been sold

I want to wish Arthur and his lady all the luck in the world with the bar

They will take over on Feb the 1st, so please go to the last quiz night next week which will be last with Nang as the hostess

Thanks to all for their past custom, just wish things had ended differently.
