I'm glad, in some way, that this thread is on the verge of closing but can I just point this out ? A guy on Thaivisa wrote about why he won't post on Koratfarang. The post is in the Isaan forum under "Expats in Khorat". The post being #27, and about the 5th paragraph down. A clever man I understand, by his claim to be a writer. His name on the forum being "foggy bottom". Read what he says and see if you agree or disagree.
I'm sorry but I should have copied, pasted whatever, but I'm computer illiterate.

I read it and have to agree with RS2000 there must be two Korat cities Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Although when I first came to Korat 7 years ago it was very much as Foggy describes it but now it is overrun with farang.

MPO stated... A clever man I understand, by his claim to be a writer.

You seem to be easily impressed MPO, by the way RayzHell is a journalist so he must be a clever man too Shocked Shocked

As for his comments about KF well probably best if I don't comment on them but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you all Grin Cheesy Grin

I edited the topic titles to avoid confusion with the other Open Letter thread.

At the time,Foggy was complaining about not having "farang" food available.
I answered him with a full overview of all available items at The Mall to purchase and others pointed out that there were a lot of restaurants available.
No answer so I stopped following that topic on TV,till MPO revived it.
It is my understanding that foggy is not and never was an active member of KoratFarang.

If you look at the original post it asks for people to answer the question about the paragraph I indicated in "foggy bottom" post #27, 5th paragraph down.
What's RaysHell got to do with this ? Okay, if he's a writer then he too is a clever man. But that doesn't mean they are always right. With "foggy bottom", I never indicated his comments to be right. As for RayzHell, he hasn't commented yet, and I haven't criticize his intellectual abilities. Can we stick to the topic, instead of trying to make waves ?

Was from 10.30 till 13.30 in The Mall.
I never shaked so many hands (of farang) and never saw that many of them.
May be of Christmas eve ? Smiley

Regarding Foggie's comment on the immigration office:I had to wait 1 hr and 20 mintes and the office was filled with Farang Wink

You did critize him quite vociferously in another thread.

As for Foggy, well I think RS2000 summed him up quite nicely Grin Cheesy Grin

I have no wish to make waves with you MPO and I wish you and your family a very Merry Xmas. Are the babies in your avatar twins?

Yes they are, boy & girl, twins aged 8 months. We also have a daughter, just turned 2, and life's like a living nightmare at times. My hat comes off to anyone else in similar circumstances. Thanks for the festive greeting.

IMHO, it is YOU who are making them, by starting a new thread with the same topic, instead to let the old one vanish(as WE agreeded by PM).
