Is anyone else having the same problem as me?

When I type a post of more than a few lines, eventually the typing area disappears off the bottom of the text box and I can't see what I'm typing. If I scroll up so I can see the text, as soon as I type again it goes out of sight again.

If you insert a long quote before typing it happens almost immediately.

It hasn't always been like this, but it's very annoying when it happens. Maybe if SR sees this he can investigate, or maybe one of the moderators will have an explanation.

I have the same problem for over a month or longer, it seems to me only happen on KF forum.
Yes, very annoying. Does anyone know how to fix it?

What I've been doing is, if I want to make a long post, I type on notepad then copy and paste here.
Sometime I even make the post shorter than what I want to post.

"Same-same" her in DK, not only on KF but also when using 2 other Danish websites. Could be an Internet Explorer/Microsoft problem.
Anyone using Mac, Mozilla, Firefox having the same problems ?

I'm on a Mac running Safari. I've not noticed the problem. I tested it out on both the "Quick Reply" and regular reply fields.

When I got to the bottom of the "Post Reply" box a scroll bar appeared and I could continue typing without losing the ability to see the insertion point.

This is the only forum I have the problem. It only happens when I reply with quote.

I do not see the problem.  I tried it on Internet Explorer and Firefox.  I have Windows Vista.

Thanks everybody for your replies. I have Windows XP with IE 7, not sure if that's relevant or not.

I've had this problem only for a couple of months now. It was OK before then.

Looks like we may just have to put up with it unless SR can offer a solution, but Orchids suggestion sounds worth a try.
