Buying an oven was one of my better decisions. My missus had never really seen one until our first visit
back home. Now it used for Roast Turkey, Beef. Pork, Yorkies. Mince pies Fruit pies etc etc etc
30.000 sound about right.

If you just want an oven you can buy a Lucky Flame one at most Gas stores and you can buy them for 7 or 8 thousand baht. Mine I have had for 6 years now and I am quite happy with it. I roast turkeys, roast beef, make pizza, cakes, bread, pies, etc. It also some come with 3 stove top burners ..very versatile.
Yesterday I made my Thai Style Chicken Wings in the oven.

Charles I've read several of your posts since you became a member on here ,If you really are as 'green' as your posts suggest ,you may well be advised to stay at home unless you are fully prepared to accept huge losses in your finances

Charles sorry if I've ruffled your feathers......that was not the intention.......
The only reason I posted what I did was that you seem to be asking questions as though you are a newbie here in Thailand
Over the years I've seen so many horror stories pan out in real life up here ,,,,I am only around 50 kms from you....
Your finances are no concern of mine but only be prepared to lose what you can afford.

Charles, thats good advice from Nookie mate. Loads of farangs accept everything they are told as being true. Never accept everything that your told. A nasty shock early is better than the alternative Wink Wink
