Hi. Maybe someone could please help me. I am trying to find a friends house I stayed at, but I don't know the coordinates, just the address:
82 moo 12 Satakien Soengsang Nakhonratchasima 30330
Can someone at least help me narrow it down to the zip code? Thanks!

Hi Guys, Have you noticed that many thai when asked about their homes/villages says : KORAT and most of us will think to Nakhon Ratchasima, while they were refering to Korat provins (plateau). I am sure that Benmajor's gf said Korat when he asked her about her homeplace, because were in h.. is soeng sang-Non thai - Ban Su Khang- or Nong Ki . Look at the direction of Chok Chai then south east and guessing for road or track 2119 and then east. http://www.clickthai.de/Bilder/Karten/ThaiNO75.gifClick on the enlarge button and scroll down to Korat.

Thanks to Korat-DK and others I was able to locate my teerak's tiny village of Nung Yai near Soeng Sang. At least I am 99% sure it's the one, because just south of the village has a distinctive shape with a road along its very straight western berm. Too bad the resolution of the google earth map isn't great, but at least I think I've now found the location and have placemarked it. Thanks!

I know one of the homeland...I tried to find it but it's difficult. It after saveone, on Highway 2, opposite side. But the satellite pictures are 2 or 3 years old, I am not sure if it was built and also, after Sima Thani Hotel, the resolution is not the same and not very good...good luck!

Hi Seb,
Thanks anyway. The one place is where a Danish guy has a "laaaaaaarge" house with a "biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig" swimmingpool. About Google Earth, it's only the topography wich has a "brown color" wich is covered . E.g. : Lung Lek Nong Meow and Korat Cat/ Klaus homes are within the covered area , but Sunstate and Buadhai are outside. And you are right about the resolution , it is not so good on the outskirt of the area , e.g. K-C's home can't be seen closer than 2000ft. before getting blurred. The parents-in-law rented home at : 14¤ 58' 28.11" N and 102¤ 04' 36.82 E can be seen clearly down to 1200ft. In about 2-3 months they will move to homeland II .

I know exactly where it is!!!! Two streets from a friend...But I can't see it on Google...maybe it wasn't build when the satellites pictures where done and also, like I said, the resolution is not good in the part of the town...(for those who know...it's about 500 meters after saveone market. Opposite side. You take a small soi and around 500 meters, you arrive in a community with new houses. The house is talking about should be on the upper left side, with a swimming pool (so, there will be a blue rectangle).

I can't remember who told me this true story so my apologies to anyone here who is already telling it.
A man, working at his office, 'phoned his wife at home and demanded to know who was visiting her. She told him that she was alone and that convinced him that she was having an affair. His evidence? He was looking at his home on Google Earth for the first time and saw a car on the drive that was not theirs. The lover is there every day!

The lover is there every day! Why ? = Because of the bad resolution of Google Earth, he couldn't prove that it was an ISUZU and not a BMW that was holding on the drive. 5 5 5
